With the world slowly starting to open back up, movie studios have started inviting a select handful of critics to screenings in Los Angeles for upcoming releases. As a result, we have some reviews for both A Quiet Place Part II and F9: The Fast Saga, and that means early Rotten Tomatoes scores have been revealed.

In the case of the former, a total of 29 reviews have been counted thus far, and with only a handful of negative verdicts, it's sitting pretty with an impressive 90%. There's no Critics Consensus yet, but this is a good start for the sequel (which, it seems, isn't quite as good as the first, but still a fun time).

As for the next instalment in the Fast & Furious franchise, we have 5 reviews thus far, so this score definitely needs to be taken with a pinch of salt until more critics weigh in. With two negative and three positive, it has 60%. One reviewer points out"The world of 'Fast & Furious' has never felt more outta control than it does here, but for the first time in a long time it feels like it's drifting in the right direction again."

Both movies are expected to make quite the impact over the summer, and will likely be extremely beneficial to the struggling North American box office in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We'll share our reviews with you as soon as possible, but in the meantime, let us know which of these movies you're most excited to check out in the comments section below. Oh, and for you horror fans out there, make sure to watch our recent interview with The Unholy director Evan Spiliotopoulos:

Come on. You know you could have milked this for 2 articles, especially since one only has 5 reviews so far.

''it feels like it's drifting in the right direction again''

Unless they're actually gonna do some streetracing again, stop using the streetrace puns. It ain't funny anymore

I wonder if F9 has a chance of crossing the billion dollar mark. 2021 Movies that I can see reaching that mark include F9, Black Widow (unless many decide to watch on D+), No Time to Die, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Heard F9 is the worst of the franchise because of how stupid it is but as long as the characters are fine then it will be fun. Very excited about A Quiet Place 2

@Godzilla2000Zer - I mean, they broke the stupid meter ages ago. I don't see how this can be the worst for being very stupid. Stupid fun has been the name of the game since like the 6th one.

@4thMaster - I want the fast series to cross over with the expendables. Go for broke... balls to the wall... no sense anywhere. And just get er done!

@DeaconFrostBite - I'd pay for that! Doing crazy vehicle stuns with the Expendables shooting big guns while standing on the hood of the cars. Just tons explosions and dead people everywhere!

@4thMaster - Yeah but to me a movie starts with good characters and I like the characters unlike say Transformers so I think alot of people are gonna forgive this and have fun with hiw absurd it is until they want something different

@Godzilla2000Zer - Likable characters can carry a franchise, that's why Transformers is going for a reboot and F&F is going strong, so you're not wrong there.
