With the world slowly starting to open back up, movie studios have started inviting a select handful of critics to screenings in Los Angeles for upcoming releases. As a result, we have some reviews for both A Quiet Place Part II and F9: The Fast Saga, and that means early Rotten Tomatoes scores have been revealed.
In the case of the former, a total of 29 reviews have been counted thus far, and with only a handful of negative verdicts, it's sitting pretty with an impressive 90%. There's no Critics Consensus yet, but this is a good start for the sequel (which, it seems, isn't quite as good as the first, but still a fun time).
As for the next instalment in the Fast & Furious franchise, we have 5 reviews thus far, so this score definitely needs to be taken with a pinch of salt until more critics weigh in. With two negative and three positive, it has 60%. One reviewer points out, "The world of 'Fast & Furious' has never felt more outta control than it does here, but for the first time in a long time it feels like it's drifting in the right direction again."
Both movies are expected to make quite the impact over the summer, and will likely be extremely beneficial to the struggling North American box office in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We'll share our reviews with you as soon as possible, but in the meantime, let us know which of these movies you're most excited to check out in the comments section below. Oh, and for you horror fans out there, make sure to watch our recent interview with The Unholy director Evan Spiliotopoulos:
