If you're not a fan of the Fast & Furious movies, chances are Hobbs & Shaw won't be for you. 

That's definitely evident in this new trailer as the ridiculous action is taken to a whole new level; whether it's Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson leaping from a skyscraper or Idris Elba being thrown literally through a bus, there's a lot here to talk about. Ultimately, it's all very silly but still looks like tremendous fun and as long as it's not taken too seriously, it should be a blast. 

Universal Pictures has no superhero franchises, so giving these popular Fast & Furious characters their own spinoff seems like a smart move and one that could lead to a profitable new series. 

Starring Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby, Helen Mirren, and Eiza Gonzalez, Hobbs & Shaw is set to land in theaters on August 2nd.

This all looks great but they have spoiled every set piece in the trailers. And this is a movie that lives and dies by its action.

i mean i bought a lot of action movies that were primarily guys, but i said to myself i only want to buy if theres at least one female in it, i hate that action movies are all guys, would rather get cgi females who can do all the badass shit these guys can do lol

I hated the crew from the main franchise went from doing regular street racing to the all blown-out over-the-top action, but I definitely don't mind these guys doing it. Hell, I think I might even watch this one on the big screen

Put all the trailers together and you've basically watched every set-piece it has. Still, this looks like a testosterone fulled fun time at the movies.
