If you're not a fan of the
Fast & Furious movies, chances are
Hobbs & Shaw won't be for you.
That's definitely evident in this new trailer as the ridiculous action is taken to a whole new level; whether it's Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson leaping from a skyscraper or Idris Elba being thrown literally through a bus, there's a lot here to talk about. Ultimately, it's all very silly but still looks like tremendous fun and as long as it's not taken too seriously, it should be a blast.
Universal Pictures has no superhero franchises, so giving these popular
Fast & Furious characters their own spinoff seems like a smart move and one that could lead to a profitable new series.

Hobbs & Shaw is set to land in theaters on August 2nd.
