The Marvels star Brie Larson has taken to social media to show off some fake tats, and speculation is running rampant that this could be our first look at her Fast X character (rumoured to be called Tess). The Oscar-winner was an unexpected addition to the adrenaline-fuelled franchise, though it seems Hollywood A-Listers can't resist the fun of this series.
After all, Fast X is bringing more than its fair share of big stars to the franchise, including Jason Momoa (Justice League), Daniela Melchoir (The Suicide Squad), and Alan Ritchson (Titans).
Going back to Larson, though, it would make sense for these photos to be behind-the-scenes snaps from the set of Fast X. That's based primarily on what projects we know the actress has been working on recently, and unless the MCU's Carol Danvers is getting a drastic new look in the Captain Marvel sequel, we'd bet on this being our first look at "Tess."
A new trailer for Fast X is set to drop a couple of days before the Super Bowl next month, so fingers crossed we get a first look at Larson in action there.
The movie's returning stars include Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Charlize Theron, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker, and Scott Eastwood. It was also recently confirmed that Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot will return as Gisele Yashar. despite the character's death in Fast & Furious 6.
In terms of plot details, very little has been revealed about Fast X. However, all you probably need to know is that there will be a lot of cars, a lot of crazy stunts, and probably quite a few explosions too. Each instalment ups the ante and attempts to outdo its predecessor, so we're sure that will be the case here as well with The Incredible Hulk's Louis Leterrier in charge.
Fast & Furious 10, a.k.a. Fast X, is set to race into theaters on May 19.
