First Look At Harrison Ford & Arnold Schwarzenegger On EXPENDABLES 3 Set
Arnold Schwarzenegger ("Predator") has tweeted an image of himself, director Patrick Hughes ("Red Hill"), and Harrison Ford ("Air Force One") from the set of Expendables 3. This our first look at the two actors on the set of the film. Come check it out.
Harrison Ford is the newcomer to the Expendables franchise. he is replacing Bruce Willis. Reportedly Willis asked for too much money. To be exact, a million dollars a day for four days of shooting. Stallone balked at the request and offered the role to a very eager Harrison Ford ("Star Wars"), who didn't have anything else better to do.
Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables — but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.
EXPENDABLES 3 - Patrick Hughes ("Red Hill") will direct the film, from a screenplay written by Creighton Rothenberger, Katrin Benedikt and Sylvester Stallone. The cast features: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews and Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to their roles. Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford join the all-star cast along with Kellan Lutz, MMA star Ronda Rousey, welterweight boxing champion Victor Ortiz and Glen Powell. It shoots into theaters August 15, 2014.
