The BBC have released a brief teaser trailer - featuring NEW footage - from the highly anticipated and extremely mysterious third season of Sherlock. What will happen when Watson (Martin Freeman) discovers that Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) is still alive?!

Sherlock Holmes can tell a software designer by his tie and an airline pilot by his thumb. He has a unique analytical brain and, unlike anyone else in the world, he staves off boredom by solving crimes. When a chance encounter brings soldier John Watson into Sherlock's life, it's apparent the two men couldn't be more different, but Sherlock's intellect coupled with John's pragmatism soon forge an unbreakable alliance.

In season three, Sherlock returns but will things ever be the same again?

i have always seen Benedict Cumberbatch as Professor Zoom in a flash film. Ever since he said "I am better" in star trek into darkness, i have always seen him saying "I am faster"

@grif I think all of the American reinventions of shows such as the office, house of cards etc have been much better than their British predecessors. Plus the walking dead and breaking bad are both serious competition too some BBC shows. Mad men, game of thrones etc

@TankD I heard that rumor when they were fixing on making the Straight up JL movie. I wonder if its still something they want to do with This worlds finest or whatever movie. I like the thought of an older Dark knight returns type batman so im on board.

The BBC is advert free - so when episodes come out you get film length viewing which is cool.

But anyways, both English leads Sherlock and The Wallking Dead - go UK lol!!
