Daniel Craig Signs On For Two More JAMES BOND Films

Skyfall (coming to theaters later this year) will be Daniel Craig's third outing as James Bond, but the actor has now signed on to star in two more films in the long running franchise.

MI6 reports that Daniel Craig (who has previously played James Bond in 2006's Casino Royale, 2008's Quantum Of Solace, and this year's Skyfall) has signed on to star in two more 007 movies. The two movies would serve as the 24th and 25th Bond movies, respectively. Sony Pictures are set to continue their relationship with MGM with the next movie in EON Productions' long running franchise. A late 2014 release for Craig's next outing as Bond has been suggested. However, EON prefer a longer break in between James Bond films. Additionally, Craig has said that he's not taking on any more film work until the new year, when press for Skyfall is finished.

A total of five James Bond films would make Craig the third longest running actor in the role, following Sean Connery and Roger Moore. You can next see Craig as 007 in Skyfall, which will be released November 9th in the US and October 26th in the UK.

Hell yeah! Daniel Craig is my favorite Bond since Connery, so I'm glad to see him sticking around for at least 2 more films after Skyfall.

@RedRage: Unless you count Never Say Never Again (which would bring Connery up to 7 Bond movies) Roger Moore is in the lead with 7: Live and Let Die (1973); The Man with the Golden Gun (1974); The Spy Who Loved Me (1977); Moonraker (1979); For Your Eyes Only (1981); Octopussy (1983); and A View to a Kill (1985).

I was wandering if James Bond may actually die in this film, thinking it would be Craig's last bond movie....guess this answers my question.

Now when i see it, when Bond gets into a difficult situation, i'll be thinking....meh he'll be fine.

Ya the more realistic take he does on bond is wayyyy better, I like the old bond actors but the movies are laughable.

Good, I just hope there's continuity like in the early Bond films. I would love to see modern versions of SPECTRE(not that Quantum crap) and Blofeld.

This is a good example of a toned down character more grounded in reality because you know, he's real. Nolan's Batman however is awful because he is caped superheroe from comic books. Batman is an awful comic book adaptation, still a great movie but not a good CMB

I want the Music to be played more in the new ones....

I just miss it.. it wasn't in the first two of his much at all!!

IN fact... he is a good Bond.. but the first one didn't feel like a Bond film, (except for the great start).... you know?

I don't want gadgets galore... Some of them go toooooo silly.. (Moonraker anyone?)

but.. the music is just cool for me still...

The Dark Knight Rises is the worse movie ever, and Nolan is so bad that Uwe Boll is like Spielberg compared to him.

Also whoever dares to say they liked TDKR is a pathetic loser and should never be alouded to get into any comicbook related web page.

Saved you the time to all of you guys who always bring from the blue your hate for everything Nolan related even if it makes no sense at all ; )

I just hope that Skyfall functions as its own movie. Quantum of Solace was absolute garbage unless you watched it and Casino Royale back-to-back.
