BALLERINA: Ana de Armas Steps Into The Fire In Killer Final Trailer; Tickets Now On Sale!

The final trailer for Ballerina has arrived and it's easily the best one yet as Ana de Armas finally steps into the fire to avenge her family and square off with the one and only John Wick!

Lionsgate has released the final trailer for Ballerina and it's easily the best one yet as we finally get to see Ana de Armas step into the fire and unleash her rage on a wide range of killers, including the legendary John Wick (Keanu Reeves).

In the film, she plays Eve Macarro, a young woman training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma. However, when she learns the truth behind her family's murder, she embarks on a one-woman mission to avenge her fallen loved ones or die trying.

Tickets are now on sale, with early premium large format screenings taking place on Wednesday, June 4! The runtime has also been confirmed, with the film clocking in at 125 minutes.

Early tracking numbers are currently projecting an opening weekend in the $39 million to $48 million range, with $45 million being the current target launch. If that holds, it would be the third-largest opening weekend for the franchise, topping John Wick ($14.4M) and John Wick: Chapter 2 ($30.4M), and could potentially launch a new franchise for Ana de Armas.

The new film is set between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4, so it's expected to fill in a few gaps between the films, and, with a fifth film now confirmed, it seems likely that the new film could provide some insight on how they plan on resurrecting Baba Yaga.

In addition to Ana de Armas (Knives Out; No Time to Die; Ghosted), the film also features Keanu Reeves (The Matrix; SpeedSonic the Hedgehog 3) as the legendary John Wick, with a supporting cast consisting of Anjelica Huston (The Addams Family; Prizzi’s Honor), Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects; Miller's Crossing), the late Lance Reddick (John Wick; The Wire), Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace; The Affair), Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead; Boondock Saints), Ian McShane (Deadwood; John Wick), Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Enola Holmes 2; Dune), and David Castañeda (Poker FaceThe Umbrella Academy).

Len Wiseman (Underworld; Live Free or Die Hard) helmed the spinoff, while Shay Hatten (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum; Army of the Dead) penned the script. Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Chad Stahelski are attached as producers.

From the World of John Wick: Ballerina hits theaters on June 6!

Taking place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the film follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.

Second best trailer released so far today after Nobody 2!

Once Superman trailer comes out (and potentially any others that drop today), we should get an article ranking all trailers released today.

So far:

1) Nobody 2
2) Ballerina
3) Ironheart

@THEKENDOMAN - Nobody was such a fun concept and a great movie. Love the family road trip concept of this one. Hope it delivers.

Ballerina should be a meet action flick but I have a feeling it’s just going to feel inferior to the main John Wick movies.

Ironheart could surprise us. Who knows? But the trailer didn’t really have any interesting hooks and the fact that Marvel sat on this so long doesn’t seem to inspire much confidence.

@CaptainAwkward - I only watched the Daredevil scenes in Echo on YouTube while skipping the overall show and didn’t feel like I missed a thing.

I will say that my wife convinced me to watch Agatha with her and it wasn’t as bad as I had originally thought it would be. That being said, had I not watched it, I wouldn’t be any worse off for it. It was just ok, which is likely the best this show could hope for as well.

pass, I like John wick but this extended universe crap doesn't really work here, if everyone in it can do the wick then it kinda takes away from John's wick. at least with the Kane character his fighting style was more unique with the blind thing and ninja sword.

She's a good actress but after seeing the trailer, I couldn't help but feel that she's miscast. Too much of a cherubic face with lots of baby fat to come off as any kind of assassin.
