Lionsgate is really bringing the big guns to New York Comic-Con with a joint-panel that'll feature the debut trailers for both Power Rangers and John Wick: Chapter 2.

The trailer for the former is presumably being kept under strict lock-and-key, but since we're already well-acquainted with John, they've debuted the first bit of footage from the film in a twenty-second trailer sneak peek, in which we see the titular assassin, played by Keanu Reeves, get fitted for a custom-made suit and then test out a new toy. Check it out below:

Keanu Reeves returns in the sequel to the 2014 hit as legendary hitman John Wick who is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers. Lionsgate’s “John Wick: Chapter 2” arriving in theaters on February 10, 2017.

John Wick: Chapter Two will feature:
Director: Chad Stahelski

Ian McShane as Winston
John Leguizamo as Aurelio
Lance Reddick as Charon

I'm interested to see how this film performs at the box office. The first John Wick was undersold to the audience but quickly picked up steam in the home video market.

I wonder if this can do $30 million opening weekend? I think Lions Gate would be over the moon with that result.

I hope they don't go too big. A lot of sequels aim too high, or don't have a necessary story, and lose the appeal of what made the first so good to begin with. But with all of the right players involved, this is definitely a hopeful possibility.
