Kingsman: The Secret Service, released in 2014 was a movie you either looked at and thought "yep, this is for me" or you thought it looked like complete rubbish. More style than substance and merely a throw away Bond rip off. I for one was in the latter of the two choices and boy was I wrong. After finally sitting down with the missus to watch Kingsman, I came away utterly mind blown; how I had missed judged this movie!?

Kingsman is one of those wonderfully balanced movies that offers incredible, balls to the wall action, great characters with rich development including two loveable leads, a villain that is down right fresh in modern cinema and a fun and compelling story. All of this wrapped up neatly in comic book styled direction masterfully handled by Matthew Vaughn (X-Men First Class)

Based on a graphic novel/comic book, and thanks to the afformentioned things it does so very right, Kingsman: The Secret Service is what we would consider one of the best comic book adaptations out there. Faithful, yet it also knew when to take liberties to better strengthen the film. With a stellar cast including Colin Firth is his most outlandish role of his career and breakout star Taron Egerton, Kingsman is sure to find a place in many a film goers hearts as well as many of their top ten favorite films list.
