With a little less than two weeks to go,
Warner Bros. has gone ahead and released over sixty beautiful hi-resolution stills from
David Yates' upcoming
The Legend of Tarzan. The film stars
Alexander Skarsgård (
True Blood) as the titular hero with
Margot Robbie (
Suicide Squad) as his lady love Jane Porter. The supporting cast consists of
Samuel L. Jackson (
Avengers: Age Of Ultron) as Tarzan's ally George Washington Williams,
Christoph Waltz (
Spectre) as the film's villain Captain Léon Rom,
Djimon Hounsou (
Furious 7) as Chief Mbonga, and
John Hurt (
Hercules) as Jane's father Prof. Archimedes Q. Porter.

It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.
