Megan Fox (Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) has dropped off the radar somewhat of late, but she has a couple of new projects in the pipeline, one of which will see her team-up with Bruce Willis (Die Hard, Looper) for a serial killer thriller called Midnight in the Switchgrass.

Lionsgate has now released a new red band trailer for the movie, which finds FBI agents Helter (Willis) and Lombardo (Fox) looking into a string of unsolved murders. When a sting operation goes terribly wrong, Lombardo goes undercover in an attempt to catch the killer and winds up being taken prisoner.

The trailer has come in for quite a bit of stick online, but we don't think it looks that bad. Check it out below and let us know what you make of it in the comments.

“While in Florida on another case, FBI agents Helter (Willis) and Lombardo (Fox) cross paths with state cop Crawford (Hirsch), who’s investigating a string of female murders that appear to be related. Lombardo and Crawford team up for an undercover sting, but it goes horribly wrong, plunging Lombardo into grave danger and pitting Crawford against a serial killer in a twisted game of cat and mouse.”

Directed by Alan Horsnail, Midnight in the Switchgrass also stars Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild), Jackie Cruz (Orange is the New Black), Michael Beach (If Beale Street Could Talk), Lukas Haas (Inception), and Machine Gun Kelly.

The movie is set for release in select theaters, on Apple TV+ and everywhere you can rent movies on July 23. It will also be available to purchase on Blu-ray and DVD on July 27.
