Am I the only one here who is going to follow the entire marketing campaign for this movie just waiting for someone to ask Cruise if he really called Andy Muschetti after watching The Flash?

@TheHumanSpider2 -

Given how he was never asked about his rumored part in Doctor Strange, seems to me he's in at least partial (if not full) control of the questions. I doubt they're going to ask him about this one either...

...but I sure as hell hope they do.

I’ve probably rewatched fallout an unhealthy amount of times, but no-one in Hollywood’s doing action movies like Cruise/McQ. Just insanely pumped to finally see this thing

@tmp3 - Rogue Nation and Fallout are both near perfect action movies. 3 and Ghost Protocol are both great as well, but man has this franchise gotten better over time.

The last one I saw was when he was like running away from a sand storm. I tried watching the Henry Cavill one once but fell asleep because I was exhausted. Never went back. I know people love these. I think imma wait till the last one then binge them.

@DocSpock - This is top 3 for me, with Oppenheimer and Dune 2 being the others.

1) MI
2) Oppenheimer
3) Dune Part 2

@MotherGooseUPus - This is probably my top 3 too, but as much as I love Villeneuve, I think my hype for MI and Oppenheimer is just on another level

@MotherGooseUPus - I won’t even rank them. I’m anticipating all three equally enough.

@DocSpock - Agreed. If announced projects, my most anticipated is Deadpool 3, but even that it’s tough for me to be hyped about with how little we know.

@tmp3 - i hear ya. i loved the first one and the teaser for Part2 hooked me. I'm a HUGE Villeneuve and Nolan fan so i'll basically see anything they direct... might as well add McQuarrie to that list as well. The 3 best directors imo, going right now
MotherGooseUPus
MotherGooseUPus - 6/14/2023, 11:36 AM
@mountainman - haha fair enough. I have my order but you bet i will be seeing all 3 day1 when they come out
tmp3

@MotherGooseUPus - In terms of big budget movies, they're absolutely the best working rn by far. Stahelski might join them soon after JW 4. But what McQ pulled off with Fallout was just something else, and every piece of footage for Oppenheimer looks incredible already
MotherGooseUPus
MotherGooseUPus - 6/14/2023, 12:41 PM
@tmp3 - havent seen JW4 but it's arriving on blu ray today at my house so i will finally see it. Everything else you said i agree with
mountainman
mountainman - 6/14/2023, 12:54 PM
@MotherGooseUPus - Definitely the only movies I’m seeing in theaters this year. I’ve seen every Nolan movie on the big screen (besides Tenet) since The Prestige. His movies are made for IMAX.

Dune had such great cinematography and the sequel covers the more exciting part of the book so I think it’ll be far better than the first one was.

And the MI series has only gotten better with time. Rogue Nation and Fallout are damn near perfect action movies. These final two installments are very likely going to be something special.
