Mission: Impossible - Fallout star Tom Cruise and director Chris McQuarrie have really outdone themselves this time with the HALO jump, an absolutely insane sequence that will see Cruise become the first actor in cinematic history to complete the jump on camera.

The stunt is so intricate that it actually required Cruise and the stunt team to make the jump over 100 times to get it absolutely right. Also, if that wasn't difficult enough, the entire scene actually takes place at night, meaning the team had just about three minutes each day to get the light they needed to make the unbelievable sequence a reality.

After reading and hearing many accounts of the crazy stuff Tom Cruise is complicit in at his Church, I have sworn off seeing his movies several times. But I can’t resist these M:I movies. I can only bring myself to watch them by imagining that Cruise is an acting robot that gets booted up every morning to make movies and then gets shut off at night. I don’t think this is too far removed from the reality.

Cruise is going to be remembered as a legend. Not only does he do his own insane stuntwork, but he spent most of his life as the second messiah in an ancient aliens cult. His life story reads like one of his movies.
