As it slowly approaches the $700 million mark, star Tom Cruise has announced that Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation will arrive on Blu-ray/DVD just in time for the holidays.

With a worldwide gross of over $673.5 million and counting, Chris McQuarrie's critically acclaimed action sequel Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation is currently the sixth biggest film of the year and is slowly inching towards becoming Tom Cruise's highest grossing film ever!

Yesterday, in a tweet, the 3x Academy Award-nominee announced when we should expect to see the latest Mission: Impossible installment on Blu-ray/DVD. Check out his tweet below:

Earlier today, Paramount Home Media Distribution issued a press release that confirmed the December 15 release date and also announced that the film will arrive on Digital HD almost a month earlier on November 17. The release also revealed the full set of special features and, thanks to IGN, we also have our first look at the film's various cover arts, which include exclusive versions from Best Buy and Target.
