MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE- FALLOUT Trailer Sneak Peek Previews Tom Cruise's Insane HALO Jump; Plus A New Still

Mission: Impossible - Fallout will contain Tom Cruise's widest stunt yet: a HALO jump from over 20,000 feet and we have your first look right here. Plus, a new still of Henry Cavill has been released.

After several years of teasing an epic stunt, Tom Cruise and Chris McQuarrie are finally ready to debut the first footage from the insane HALO jump - that Cruise himself actually performs. I was fortunate enough to see the raw footage at CinemaCon and can tell you that it's an absolutely unreal sequence that sees Ethan Hunt (Cruise) go above and beyond to save August Walker (Henry Cavill) from certain death while also trying to keep himself alive and fulfill the Mission.

While you can read a much more detailed footage description HERE, the sequence picks up with Hunt and Walker aboard an aircraft where they have a disagreement on how to carry out the Mission. A ticked off Walker disconnects Hunt's oxygen tank before jumping out of the plane, leaving Hunt scrambling. Then, in real-time, he has to reconnect his oxygen tank and jump out as well. We then get some unbelievable footage of Cruise performing the stunt and ultimately see him collide with Walker mid-air before the pair get struck by lightning. After regaining consciousness, he has three minutes to save Walker before the two of them go kersplat.

Watch the trailer sneak peek below and check back in tomorrow for the new trailer!

@BlindWedjat - For a long time I really wasn't so sure about casting anyone as Freddie, but Rami Malek does look quite promising.

@Kyos - They originally wanted Sasha Baron Cohen I believe but I am actually glad they chose Rami.

@MosquitoFarmer - Wrong! He delivers a baby mid air after jumping from the highest possible point in Earth's atmosphere, simultaneously deactivating the most destructive nuclear warhead in existence and falling through the eye of the greatest hurricane to have formed in history.

@smgmayhem - And I bet the baby will be 100% Guatemalan or something just to prove that he can do anything.
