Danny Trejo returns as ex-Federal agent Machete, who is recruited by the President of the United States (Charlie Sheen) for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man – he must take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer (Mel Gibson) who has hatched a plan to spread war across the planet.

This is the greatest thing I have ever seen. Btw, if you are taking this seriously you are not too bright. This is supposed to be a dumb throw back to old B movie exploitation films. If you know ANYTHING about Rodriguzes career you should know this the standard. Crazy shit happening in a sill manner. Just a fun film. Jeez, some people are such sourpusses.

Yeah, the sequels were planned and written before the first one came out. "Machete Kills Again" will probably be out in 2016.

You People that are critizing this film are stupid, RR's films like Sharkboy and Lavagirl, the Spy Kids films, and this Machete Kills are genuinly action-packed and off the wall goofy!!! LOL that is what he does, that's his signature. like nolan's films are dark but realstic, and bay's films are action packed shit tons of explosions, hot girls, and rascism. because that is their style of filmmaking. and BTW Alexa Vega looks hot as hell!!! That is all :)
