Why exactly would anyone want a film to flop? I mean if you don't have interest in it .... Don't go see it and let others enjoy it if they wish. I hope it does well

This looks worse with every bit of new information that comes out. Of course, it fits in just fine for modern moviemaking, where all that matters are lots of explosions- the bigger the better, ridiculous stunts, seeing things destroyed or wrecked in super slo-mo, and a story that is a series of fights and chases, climaxed by a big chase and a big showdown fight. Meh.

Character development? Good acting? A tight story with no huge holes, no huge gaps in credibility, and no contrived coincidences just to force things to move forward? Who the hell wants to see THAT? I grew up in the '70s and '80s, so I guess I'm spoiled. Summers used to be one instant classic movie after another, instead of a bunch of live-action CGI cartoons with no coherent narrative and no real character development.
