Well this sucks. Director Sam Mendes was previously rumored to have confirmed a deal to direct both Bond 24 & Bond 25 well this rumor again has been shot down. Mendes was at the premiere of a new play he has been working on and was quoted as to say:

"In answer to the question you're going to ask, I don't know yet. I'm in discussion over the 'B' word and I won't make any decision until this is open. It's taken a long time to get this open and this has been my focus."

On one side of the dice, it's nice that the studio has contacted Mendes after the wonderful job he dide on Skyfall but on the other side it is disappointing no contract has been signed. If Sam Mendes does not return to Bond 24 who is your pick to direct the next epic adventure of James Bond? Comment below and let me know!
