From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the team behind the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ “The Lone Ranger,” a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.



Disney's The Lone Ranger is directed by Gore Verbinski, from a screenplay written by Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio, Eric Aronson and Justin Haythe. The film stars: Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer, Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter. It will gallop into theaters July 3, 2013.

OK..i have had bad feelings about this, but i will say this good. I LOVE them going on location and so many of the stunts NOT being CGI. Did you see that train? They were scared shitless.... you cant fake that with CGI..and we know it in a instinctual way subconsciously. I hope it works...

I will say that feature made me very interested to see this, but I just think it doesn't stand a chance this summer. Against the likes of MOS & WWZ. But who knows maybe it'll surprise us.
