Shah Rukh Khan Rocks Like You've Never Seen Him Before In Action-Packed Official Trailer For JAWAN

At long last, Red Chillies Entertainment has released the official trailer for Shah Rukh Khan's hotly-awaited action thriller JAWAN, featuring King Khan in a role unlike any we've ever seen him in before.

While plot details are being kept heavily guarded in the deepest corners of Mannat, the film is being described as a "high-octane action thriller which outlines the emotional journey of a man who is set to rectify the wrongs in society."

Khan will play the title role of a JAWAN, which translates to "Soldier," who will apparently recruit an elite team of female soldiers to take on one of the most dangerous on-screen foes he's ever faced, played by Vijay Sethupathi. The film is one of the most ambitious and largest productions in the history of Indian cinema and is widely expected to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest Indian releases of the calendar year.

With the Oscar-winning RRR introducing a whole new audience to Indian cinema over the past year and SRK's own Pathaan grossing approximately $128.7 million worldwide this past January, there's plenty of reason to believe JAWAN will perform similarly across the globe, including another exceptional performance in the North American and European markets.

Plus, in just 24 hours, the trailer has amassed 112 million views across all platforms, already making it the most-viewed teaser of any Indian film ever, so the buzz is certainly at an all-time high and it's only going to get bigger from here.

In addition to SRK, the supporting cast consists of Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, and Mukesh Chhabra, with Khan's frequent collaborator Deepika Padukone making a special appearance.

For international audiences, the new trailer will be attached to screenings of Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One, so be sure to arrive early if you want to catch it on the big screen!

Check out the official trailer below:

An emotional journey of a man who is set to rectify the wrongs in the society, in an attempt to get even with his past, driven by a personal vendetta while keeping up to a promise made years ago. A high-octane action thriller where he is up against a dreadful monstrous outlaw who knows no fear and has caused extreme suffering to many. In the journey he will cross paths with a high-minded seasoned lady officer whose emotions might get the better of her as she gets involved in this battle. As his past catches up with him, to overcome the challenges and restore the harmony in their world, he will need all the firepower and intelligence to do so.

@Himura - If it’s even remotely relevant then sure I’m for it. If it’s just SRK fanboys promoting his mediocre crap I’ll pass. I don’t see anything else prominent from other regions? Don’t see any other Indian media being promoted either. It’s just an srk fanbiy jerking himself off. No thanks.

I must admit I have never heard of this. Looks like it could be good though.

If it is not subtitled, I will give it a shot. I don't do fully subtitled movies or TV though.

Looks bad. I’ve tried to watch 3 different movies of SRK’s and I just don’t see the appeal. He’s a mediocre actor and the movies I watched just surrounded him with even more bland actors to make him look better.

Used to love Bollywood as a kid but I can't really get into these bombastic over the top flicks they have coming out nowadays. Could anyone recommend a Bollywood flick with an original storyline, realistic, or at least slightly toned down? Could be any genre.
