Another mystery is afoot, as Netflix and Legendary have just announced that they are in the early stages of developing a sequel to Enola Holmes, with both Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things; Godzilla vs. Kong) and Henry Cavill (Man of Steel; Mission: Impossible - Fallout) set to return as Enola and her slightly more famous brother, Sherlock.
In a statement, Brown expressed her excitement about returning to this world, “I can’t wait to collaborate again with my Enola Holmes family! Enola holds a special place in my heart – she’s strong, fearless, intelligent and brave. I look forward to fans seeing how her journey continues!”
In addition to the aforementioned stars, director Harry Bradbeer and writer Jack Thorne will also return in their respective roles. Brown will also produce the feature with Paige Brown through their PCMA Productions banner, along with Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, and Ali Mendes from Legendary.
Even though the script is still being written, production is tentatively scheduled to begin at the end of this calendar year, although that is subject to change.
