Following the runaway success of the original, Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things; Godzilla vs. Kong) is back to solve a mystery of historic proportions in Enola Holmes 2, the sequel to her 2020 streaming hit.

Netflix has finally released the official trailer, which teases some of the action to come and reveals that Henry Cavill (Mission: Impossible - FalloutJustice League), who plays Enola's older and far more famous brother Sherlock, will have a much bigger role to play this time around as he partners with his younger sister to solve not just one, but two mysteries!

Harry Bradbeer is back in the director's chair, with Jack Thorne once again penning the script.

Helena Bonham Carter will also return as the Holmes matriarch Eudoria, while the supporting cast consists of Louis Partridge as Viscount Tewkesbury, Adeel Akhtar as Lestrade, Susie Wokoma as Edith, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, David Thewlis, Gabriel Tierney, Hannah Dodd, Abbie Hern, and Serranna Su-Ling Bliss.

Enola Holmes 2 starts streaming exclusively on Netflix on November 4.

Liked the first one despite a drab and aimless story almost solely off Brown and Cavill’s limitless charm. Hoping this one ups the fun.

Anyone else hear stories about Millie Bobby Brown being a spotlight hogging bitch in real life? There are a lot videos on YouTube about it. I wonder of other cast members really feel that way about her.

@CorndogBurglar - Yup, you can see some of it in cast interviews.

This kid makes me feel so damn old. Stranger Things doesn't seem like it came out all that long ago. She went from being a weird looking little kid to a gorgeous grown ass woman in no time. Apparently some of those kids are like 20 now. TF happened?

@DarthOmega - It's called simple math!

The first season was probably filmed in 2015 or by early 2016. That's 7 years! Kids Cast was probably around 12 - 14 at that time. And as we all know, clock keeps ticking. Father Time doesn't wait for nobody!

@TheOtherOn - I get it's simple math. I just wasn't exactly sure when the show came out, and I'm just astonished by how much they changed. And I thought they were younger.

Sadly I can't stand her, specially after that cry baby season 4 of stranger things where she cried in every [frick]ing scene she was. And on top of it, there's the bitching she does off cameras. But hope its good for the people who enjoyed the first one.

People just need to disengage their adult prejudice. Relax, this is CLEARLY a family movie and not for the jaundiced, judgemental breed of keyboard warriors on this site. It looks well made and both leads are (as usual) easy viewing. MBB is a talented young woman. If she occasionally makes the odd social gaff or gives a churlish response, please remember she's growing up in the spotlight. How many of us would like everything we said between the ages of 12-18 scrutinised and held up for public debate? Don't know about you but I was a p***k as a teenager.
