In 2012 the comic book world was blown wide open in ways we all never imagined. The creative minds behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe brought all our favorite heroes together in the comic book movie event of a lifetime, The Avengers. I didn't even think an idea like this could be pulled off. Firstly some of the movies on the way to The Avengers were pretty average and I honestly just didn't think they could balance all the characters and actors than they hired Joss Whedon. Joss is one of the few directors who knows how to balance large ensemble casts and he does so so well here in The Avengers.

The Avengers is big, bold and just so large in its scale that even now some 7 years later it's hard to believe they pulled this off and not just that but they blew every ones minds and destroyed the box office as well. As much as we have had other cross over films; Age of Ultron, Civil War and most recently Infinity War and very shortly Endgame, The Avengers in 2012 is still the movie that proved it could be done and that it could be done well.

I go in to great detail about all the things I love about this incredible movie and also the aspects of it that haven't held up quite as well and I love to have a rich discussion with you all so please consider jumping over and joining the chat in the comments. As always guys, much love and thanks for checking me out!
