A few years ago we got TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION, and we thought "Wow! I didn't think they could do it, I really didn't think they could make a movie this stupid!" Well fear not fellow CBMers, they can and they did, but that's not all, they did it again.

Michael Bay takes pride in topping himself and making each movie bigger than the last, well congratulations Mick, you've made the biggest steaming log on cinema's front lawn that we have seen yet. It really is a moment to be proud of. From the convuluted and convenient story, to the terrible characters, to the horrible aspect ratio changes (who thought flat to IMAX shot to shot was a good idea?) this is a senesational piece of cinema history, going down with the likes of THE ROOM as one of the worst films ever put to the silver screen.

Welcome to REWIND REPLAY! If you haven't checked the channel out before my name is Steve and love all things movies, T.V., video games and just pop culture in general and I really wanted a place I could discuss it all with others thus- REWIND REPLAY.

REWIND REPLAY is a channel for pop culture lovers of all ages to come together and jump head long into the discussion about all the latest movies, video games and television programs.

Here is what you can expect to see on REWIND REPLAY...

NEW REVIEWS- Reviews of all the latest release movies as well as the latest STAN and NETFLIX movies.

REWIND REVIEWS- Reviews of older movies.I like to look back at what the film was then and see how it has held up today. Often this will be used to build up to a new release.

RANKINGS- Once I've built up a new release movie with REWIND REVIEWS and reviewed the new film as well, I'll go ahead and RANK them from WORST to BEST!

RECASTS- This is where I take a new release movie and shift its release date by a decade or two and RECAST the movie with actors from that time.I also talk a bit about how I think the film would have looked and felt during that era and discuss who might have directed the movie and why.

5 THINGS STILL GREAT ABOUT- This is a new segment looking back at videos game of old and instead of reviewing them and pulling them apart for their dated graphics and game play, instead I look at what is STILL GREAT about the game. Fun, light-hearted and hopefully gets you looking at older games in a new light.

TOP 10's-Coming in a month or so I'll be adding TOP 10's to the agenda. These will either countdown to from 10-1 or I may make them simply 10 moments in no particular order.

@RewindReplay - I give you guys shit, but I repeat the hard work put in. It only really started to bother me one day I went to the editorial section and there was about six back to back videos by just a couple users. Maybe there should just be a separate tab?

I watched it 2 days ago and yes, it really is THAT bad. From someone who enjoyed 1-3 and even many bits from 4, this was hot garbage. My friend who is a TF film fan hated it too.

Good CGI and spectacle scenes here and there, shadowed by RIDICULOUSLY long dialogues, boring scenes where nothing interesting happens and unnesessary exposition.

The story is one big incomprehensibe mess. The editing is atrocious (SS' editing is masterpiece compared to this). This is not a coherently structured film, but one big pile of scenes put together. It jumps from scene to scene just like that, without giving you time to breath in what just happened. It is a pain to watch and go through to the good bits (which are very little and pop here and there). I would challenge anyone to try re-tell me and structure the film from their memory on the the next day after seeing it and I bet they won't be able to.

Everyone is wasted - Optimus has 15 mins of screen time total, Autobots are wasted, Grimlock doesn't do anything, Decepticons are also wasted, including Megatron. All cool scenes and I mean literally every cool scene is shown almost ENTIRELY in the trailers (the actual scenes are only 10-15 seconds longer in the film itself). The last act is all over the place. Things just... happen.

Duhamel and Turturo are completely wasted and Tucci's role breaks continuity by having the same actor play a different role.

I am giving this 3/10 just for the good CGI and spectacle that Bay does well, but I feel like this is too generous and I'm done with this franchise until someone else steps in.

P.S And don't get me wrong. I knew exactly what I was going to see and the good things to look for, and this film still managed to disappoint me and my friend and make us regret that we went seeing it.

@kylo0607 - Here's hoping Bay sticks to his word about this being his last one!
