PEACEMAKER Clip Sees The Villain Declare "F*** Aquaman!" As New Trailer Release Date Is Confirmed

A website titled PeacemakerIsComing.com launched yesterday evening, and with it comes a brand new clip from the DC Comics series, Peacemaker (obviously). However, it's also accompanied by the news that the next trailer for the series - which premieres on HBO Max on January 13 - will drop online on December 3. We don't know the exact time, but will have it for you the second it arrives.

While there wasn't much to like about Christopher Smith in The Suicide Squad, it's easy enough to see why Warner Bros. wanted to move forward with a spinoff for the character as he was still a lot of fun to spend time with. John Cena can be thanked for that in many ways, and he has solid comedic timing in this sneak peek with a back and forth that culminates with "F*** Aquaman!"

The comedy is very much in the same vein as The Suicide Squad, so you'll either find it riotously funny or sit there with a straight face. Either way, we're definitely excited to see more from this one.

"Peacemaker will explore the origins of the character that John Cena first portrayed in James Gunn's 2021 film, 'The Suicide Squad,'" reads the new synopsis, "a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it."

The series stars John Cena as Peacemaker, Danielle Brooks as Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Harcourt, Steve Agee as Economos, Chukwudi Iwuji as Murn, and Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith. Gunn wrote all eight episodes and directed five, including the first.

The Suicide Squad is probably my favourite CBM of the year so far. I have next to no interest in this show.

@McMurdo - I’m still stuck between Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Shang-Chi and The Suicide Squad, thought they were all great, can’t choose between them yet. Need to watch them all again.

Peacemaker was actually better than I thought he would be.

Best Comic Book Movie this year if you don't include Justice League:The Snyder Cut.

Definition of "grovel"
To creep with the face to the ground; to lie or creep with the body prostrate in token of subservience or abasement

EXAMPLE:
"I'm so, so sorry for my mistake. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm very sorry. You have to understand I love and respect China and Chinese people. I'm sorry." -John Cena

@SuperiorHeckler - if you were an actor in a major motion picture with a studio making you apologize - you would do the same goddamn thing fool lol

Peacemaker was great in Suicide Squad so I’m hyped for this. I hope they play into PTSD after what happened in Jötunheim since that would [frick] anyone up.
