If you're like me you've been loving the absolute wealth of images coming out from Bruce Timm and company involving their newest feature Batman: Under the Red Hood. What we've seen so far has been nothing short of breath taking; we've seen conformation of both a young and teen aged Jason Todd, confirmation that his brutal death will be seen on screen, and we've seen quite possibly one of the greatest voice casts ever assembled for a DCAU movie. But with the release of Crisis on Two Earths we get so much more than that, instead of just short glimpses of this movie in a static environment we finally get to see it come together a little bit. The bonus feature included with COTE isn't a trailer for BURH like I had originally hoped, but the in depth interviews from the creators and the voice actors was so much better. Where a trailer would have only given us some broad strokes of the story and some good action beats, the interview really took us under the hood of the movie, it exposed how the melding of Death in the Family and Under the Hood came to be and gave us a look inside what goes into making a movie.
