The poetry in this book is magical.

They are running out of GOOD batman stories to adapt to film. I hope thats when they realize they need to work with other properties.

@soberchimera...

can you imagine if they actually adapted, The Long Halloween, Dark Victory, or even Hush???

jesus. i'd prefer that conroy, hamill, all the voice actors from TAS/the arkham games do the work if they were ever to do any of those. but regardless, just getting those stories told with the same level of seriousness/dedication/effort/etc as this was done - it'd definitely be setting the standard for all comic animation films.

Gotcha lol. Yeah the voice acting was terrible. The storyline was ok I guess. Looking at it as a one shot movie, it's an ok Batman story and movie. It's not one of my favorites in any way, but it wasn't terrible. I know a lot of people loved Miller's The Dark Knight Returns; I just never really cared for it. To each their own right?

I watched it the other night with a friends early copy, ...it's freaking awesome. The scenes with Joker and Batman, and Superman and Batman is well done drama.
