The UK might be seeing the big budget comic book movie releases before our neighbors across the pond but we have defiantly received the short straw when it comes to animation.
But fear not British Batman fans as Warner Brothers and Amazon Prime have joined forces to bring you the latest Batman animated outing. The series is available to stream now for all Amazon Prime customers.
Beware the Batman follows the Caped Crusader taking on lesser known characters in Gotham City including Professor Pyg and Mister Toad. other familiar characters including Alfred, re-envisioned as a former MI6 operative turned butler and Commissioner Gordon and daughter, Barbara. The sidekick role is filled by sword wielding Katana who is in hiding from the deadly league of assassins.
The animated series is produced by Cartoon America in the US and features the voice talents of Anthony Ruivivar as Bruce Wayne/Batman.
Vice President of Amazon Instant Video EU said ''This milestone deal signals an exciting time in the growth of our exclusive content offering'' adding, 'We're passionate about investing in the very best shows for our customers of all ages, and this is a great new series for a range of generations to immerse themselves in.''
The deal comes as a shock as many expected Cartoon Network to air the series which began broadcasting Teen Titans Go! last week but has yet to show the second season of Young Justice: Invasion.
Anyway, are you looking forward to seeing the show that has suffered from negative reactions from fans in the US, sound your thoughts off below.
