After 2014's success of
Big Hero 6, which not only performed well at the box office and with the critics, as well as winning an Academy Award, many wondered what was next in store for the property. Well it seems just around the corner is
Big Hero 6: The Series, featuring most of the original voice cast reprising their roles from the feature film (including Scott Adsit as Baymax and Ryan Potter as Hiro Hamada), and helmed by
Kim Possible creators Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley.
The show's cast includes Maya Rudolph (Aunt Cass), Jamie Chung (GoGo), Scott Adsit (Baymax), Alan Tudyk (Alistair Krei), Ryan Potter (Hiro), Genesis Rodriguez (Honey Lemon), Wasabi (Khary Payton), Fred (Brooks Wheelan), David Shaughnessy (Heathcliff), and Stan Lee (Fred’s Dad). The show is expected to debut later in 2017.
