Ultimate spider-man is coming back for a second season next month, with a one hour special that will introduce both the Lizard and electro.

We have already seen how the lizard is going to look in the show(which you can see by clicking here), and now it is time to see how elkectro will transition from comics to the animated series:

Looking at both the images above, it appears that Electro will have both his 616 the ultimate look. Whether this means that the infamous villain debut in his green and yellow costume then evolves to his Ultimate look remains to be seen.

Ultimate Spider-man returns to Disney XD on January 21st, after spectacular ratings for the first season, even though fans of the web crawler were not, particularly, happy with the show's format and rendition of Spidey.

Shit show, an insult to spider-man. And before anyone comes in and says its meant for 8 year olds, so was Batman TAS, X-Men TAS, Spider-Man TAS, Spectacular Spider-man and Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes. Yet they can be enjoyed by people of all ages, so that argument is stupid

@jimoakley666 I've actually got all the DVDs for Batman TAS in British volumes and american imports, and the british one are rated PG and U, same as the others. None of them would have made it on air if they where 12, add to the timeslot they where in around 4-7 just in time for the kids who had gone home from school.

This show is decent and makes Spidey come off as a total douchebag. He is better potrayed in Earth Mightiest Heroes than this shit. Why did Marvel cancel Spectacular Spider-Man?

Yeah yeah, we get it. You hate the show, yadda yadda blah blah. If you don't like it, don't comment here.

I love the show, I don't think it's an insult to Spider-Man in the slightest, that's my opinion.

This show is an insult to Spider-Man. It's just not the Spidey I grew up with and looked up to. Now, he's just some cartoony joke. *sigh*

Good show. Excited to see more classic villains adopted on the show.

"The Batman" is a more tolerable cartoon show when compared to ultimate spiderman.
