DreamWorks' Dragons: The Nine Realms, the new animated series inspired by the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, is set to premiere tomorrow (December 23rd) on Hulu and Peacock.

Ahead of the show's debut, the folks over at DreamWorks were kind enough to send us this exclusive "Welcome to the Dragon Club" video clip to share!

The clip clocks in at almost two minutes and introduces us to several of the characters (Tom, DAngelo, and Jun), as well as a couple of the dragons (Thunder, Wu and Wei).

The new series will include 6 episodes and is set 1,300 years after the events of How to Train Your Dragon, where dragons have become a legend in the modern world. A group of misfit kids uncover the truth about dragons and where they've been hiding all these years after being brought to a new research facility by their parents to study an immmense, miles-deep fissure that has opened up in the Earth's surface.

The voice cast includes Jeremy Shada as Tom Kullersen; Ashley Liao as Jun Wong; Marcus Scribner as D’Angelo Baker; Aimee Garcia as Alexandra Gonzalez; Julia Stiles as Olivia Kullersen; Lauren Tom as May Wong; Keston John as Philip Baker; Pavar Snipe as Angela Baker; Justina Machado as Carla Gonzalez; Angelique Cabral as Hazel Gonzalez; D’arcy Carden as Linda; Carrie Keranen as Wilma Sledkin.

It's sure to be a hit with How to Train Your Dragon fans.

The HTTYD trilogy is fantastic but have checked out any of the TV series. Animation always looked pretty cheap compared the gorgeous films and that put me off them
