Before "Iron Man 2" hits theaters, Marvel is releasing the first volume on Nick's hit show: "Iron Man Armored Adventures."

This show is the 3D CGI animated hit television series that holds the record for the highest-rated original series premiere on Nicktoons Network. "Entertainment Weekly" raved that "Iron Man: Armored Adventured" possesses “smart writing and stellar CG butt-kickery.”

Show Synopsis
Tony Stark is not the typical teenager… he’s a billionaire, brilliant inventor… and Iron Man! “Iron Man: Armored Adventures” follows Tony Stark, 16-year-old genius and heir to the billion-dollar corporation Stark International, as he battles the enemies of world peace with his revolutionary power armor technology. Growing up, Tony had always lived a life of luxury, but everything went horribly wrong when a tragic plane accident robbed him of his father and nearly cost him his own life. Eager to honor the memory of his dad, Tony now uses his suit of invincible armor and technical know-how to protect those who would also fall prey to tragedy, corruption and conspiracy. With help from his friends Jim Rhodes and Pepper Potts, Tony’s activities as Iron Man usually result in high-speed flight, high-tech battles and high-octane quests for justice.

“Iron Man: Armored Adventures” Volume 1

Honestly I have never seen the show (the 3D CGI never appealed to me since the Spider-Man show came out) but I might buy this to see what the fuss is all about.

I dont know if it is just me or not but i dont like it when every time a new show comes out all the origins are changed and the ages are all changed . When they do this every time it muddies the origin waters to much so to speak. But that is just my opinion.

I'm buying it!!! It's a great show regardless of the liberties. Had they made a shit show with their liberties, i'd let'em have it but the show is quality even if it's Tony Jr. It's the same with the Ultimate Universe. Not all of it is crap. There were some improvements done IMO.

Teen-age Tony Stark. Give me a freakin' break. The animation has a wierd rotoscoped vibe to it. Just deleted all the episodes from my DVR.

grif - F*ck you, you negative bastard! Smallville rules!

Anyone shying away from this show due to the teenager premise is missing out BIG-TIME! I can understand your trepidation due to past experiences with similar approachs taken to adaptations of beloved properties, but in this case, you'd do well to overlook yout prejudices and enjoy the ride!

What I can't get over about this show is that it somehow remains faithful to the original concepts introduced in the comics while changing everything around! It's off the chain! I love EVERY episode so far!

In this instance, things needed to be changed and updated! The producers have created their own continuity that is smart and obeys itself without TOTALLY betraying the roots of the characters! Can anyone honestly envision an Iron Man cartoon aimed at kids that is set back in the early 60s days of the Cold War? NickToons has successfully contemporized this show and made all of its themes relevant and topical to today's generation! Bravo! Give it a chance, if you get past your initial biases you'll soon recognize the quality of this show and hopefully hop onboard!

Waaaay better than Saban's poor 1990s attempt!!
