This whole show is just retarded. First, the only "Ultimate" thing in it is Nick Fury. That's IT. The Ultimate Pete in the comics was never begging to be apart of shield or on a team. In fact, he told Fury off on a regular basis. And from what I've seen, they've messed up Ock's arms too.

Secondly, it uses the same old here cliches like "teamwork" and "respecting authority".

Jeez this show sucks...

probably the only 54 seconds of the show that didn't suck.

Is that a different VA? He doesn't sound like the one on EMH.

Oh and btw. this show is disappointing. I bet the kids will love it though so it's ok.

@teabag dude, Batman the Animated Series was for kids too. You can be appealing to a younger audience without sacrificing good story telling.

@teabag

Batman the Animated Series won Emmy awards, if you need anymore convincing.

In fact, I can't think of any cartoon that came out of the early-mid-to-late 90s that DIDN'T appeal to an older audience in some way. That's how good they were.

Pinky and the Brain
Rockos Modern Life
Ah! Real Monsters
Doug
Anamaniacs
Batman Animated Series
Rugrats
Johnny Bravo
Power-Puff Girls
Angry Beavers
Hey Arnold
Ed, Edd, and Eddy
Dexter's Laboratory
Spongebob Squarepants
Cow and Chicken
Ren & Stimpy

All of these cartoons were fantastic, not just because they were flashy and colorful, but because (beneath the basic subject matter) there lie depth in the story riddled with euphemisms, innuendo, and a crapload of other things that flew under the radar that adults could appreciate that kids just couldn't understand.

Cartoons of today suck, because they fail to appeal in more intellectual ways.

@Just1Superguy

In the comic books, Tony Stark gave him the suit after a power boost (in the Other series), then Parker used the suit during Civil war, when he was still pro registration (Iron Man's side).

I have no fuqing clue as to why they brought it out for the animated series though. :\
