Marvel Releases First Trailer For HULK AND THE AGENTS OF S.M.A.S.H.

Marvel and Disney XD has released the first official promo of their upcoming animated series Hulk and The Agents of S.M.A.S.H. The new series premieres August 11th on Disney XD.

Meet the 'hulks' of Disney XD's Hulk and The Agents of S.M.A.S.H




Hulk and the agents of SMASH will debut on August 11th on Disney XD.

In "Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.," Hulk has long fought alone to protect a world that sees him as a monster, but his friend Rick Jones has taken it upon himself to film the world-saving exploits of Big Green and his team to change that image. In this never before seen team up of Hulk, his cousin She-Hulk, A-Bomb, Red Hulk and Skaar, Marvel's mightiest super heroes form an eccentric family living under one roof, working together to tackle threats that are too enormous for other heroes to handle. From trying to house break their giant red pet T-Rex to stopping Ego the Living Planet from crashing into the Earth, the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. must learn to balance Hulk-sized action with everyday family-sized problems.

Can't really judge this as it's more of a teaser but I do love it that Abomb is voiced by Seth Green and Clancy Brown is Rulk.

I'm hoping Skaar won't be just regular hulk with a sword, personality wise.

I thought it looked pretty lame, but then I got my almost-two-year-old son to sit and watch it with me, and he just went nuts! He did his Hulk growl/roar and pointed at the screen the entire time. So...guess we'll be watching.

Sidenote, Hulk is my son's favorite. He's absolutely crazy about Hulk.

It looks dumb as all get out, and I like that. Cause dumb is where I'm at. I'll give this a watch. Hate to say it, but [on average] this new breed of Marvel cartoon is what's popular with the little ones. There's always the occasional one-off who has the "Well I have a kid and he/she thinks Ultimate Spiderman is dumb" but on average they dig this stuff. They wouldn't keep making these kinds of cartoons if they weren't popular. Stuff like Tron Uprising, GL, and Young Justice don't hold the same audiences.

You can hate on Teen Titans Go! all ya want, but it's #1 in its time slot and demographic. It just got approved for season two.

I don't see this lasting more than a season, especially since Avengers Assemble just got approved for a second season and we've only seen two episodes.
