Monty Oum the animator  of RWBY (He created it),  Dead Fantasy, Red vs Blue and Haloid has passed away. Ten Days ago he suffered an Severe allergic reaction which had left him in a coma. Although he fought his body was not able to recover and passed away in his sleep aged 33.

This is the guy who inspired the likes of Death Battle. Haloid showed how well and fluent animation could be done. Red vs Blue showed Monty's Creativity and what he could do with a full on series and RWBY showed how he could create a new world different from other stories. He was a great animator and a key part of Rooster Teeth. He will be missed for everyone he has done for the Animation Community.

Reminder that we should cherish those close to us and not wait til they're gone to appreciate them - Monty Oum.

I will leave you with his in my opinion best work..Haloid.

oh shit, this is heart breaking. He seemed like such a cool dude. I loved when he came up on the RT Podcast. They always talked about how dedicated he was to his work, RvB won't be the same without him.

Terrible news. Monty was amazingly creative, a technological whiz, a great dancer and an all round decent human being.

The guy was an absolute prodigy with limitless drive.
