Planes Fire & Rescue Blu-ray

Disney's Planes Fire & Rescue has landed on Blu-ray Combo Pack, Digital HD, Disney Movies Anywhere, DVD and On-Demand (Whew! That was a mouth full!). The follow-up to last year's Planes comes the world famous racer Dusty Crophopper who joins an elite fire and rescue unit and learns what it takes to be a true hero.  They high-flying comedy adventure also comes jet packed with an all-new exclusive animated short, deleted scenes, music video and more.

Planes Fire & Rescue is a step above it's predecessor in just about every area. The film tackles some very difficult issues and questions, especially for children, in a way that they can understand.  You probably have to go all the way back to Bambi to find a Disney film that covers some of the subject matter contained within the film... My 7 year old LOVED the rescue vehicles, but I really liked the story.

Produced by John Lassiter, known most recently for Wreck-It-Ralph, Frozen and Big Hero 6 (due to hit theaters this week, keep an eye out for my review on Friday!), you're guaranteed to have a good time and you know that it's going to look amazing. The movie is very well put together and has a great cast. Your children are sure to love it and don't be shocked if YOU enjoy it as well. You may even get a little wet around the eyes during the movie... I didn't, but there's a good chance that YOU will.

I really like the Disney's Cars Universe will get this to add to it. I am wondering how much longer it will be till Disney decides to include the Maistro Super Hero Squad cars.
