The sixth episode of TV's most praised animated series, The avengers Earth's mightiest heroes, aired yesterday. The episode titled "Michael Korvac" pits the avengers in conflict with the guardians of the galaxy. So how did this episode fair? Keep reading to find out.

The story of the episode introduces Michael Korvac, a deranged, human being who appears in the middle of the city, naked, with nightmares and claims that Aliens abducted him and experimented on his body before he could escape. Having no clue what to do with the crazy looking individual, the cops take Michael to the Avengers (who are now recognized and admired by the public). Before the Avengers could find out what Korvac went through and what he can do, the peace keeping galactic force, the Guardians of the Galaxy, intervene to take Michael Korvac to Justice, for crimes against the galaxy.

Written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning and directed by, the late, Boyd Kirkland, "Michael Korvac" offers a fantastic story, with all the drama and twists that you expect from an intelligent show such as this one. The character of Michael Korvac is written in a way where you both hate him yet feel compassion as his story of tragedy and suffering is very well portrayed. It is funny that actually Michael Korvac who was just introduced has more back story, drama, and character development than the entire cast of Ultimate Spider-man after 7 episodes.

The show also marks the first appearance of the Guardians of the Galaxy in animated form. The team consist of Adam Warlock (who has a great design), Starlord (who comes out very human and believable), Rocket Raccoon (Who's awesome as always), Quassar (who in the comics is Captain MAarvell's daughter) and Grunt (who only says his name). All of these characters are well introduced and handled both in terms of story and design.

The animation is as you expect from the show, while a bit stylized it works and fits the show's tone.  Voice work is fantastic as usual with the actor who portrays Korvac doing an exceptional job, which something we come to expect from Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Likes:

- The guardians of the galaxy

- The Drama and tragedy that comes with Michael Korvac

- The cosmic story of this season is getting more and more interesting

- Michael Korvac's exit at the end of the episode was very well handled

- The voice work is exceptional

- Ms Marvel

Dislikes:

- Hoped the the episode was longer

Summary:

With a good story, and great directing by the late Boyd Kirkland, "Michael Korvac" is one of the best episodes of the Avengers Earth Mightiest heroes, and one that makes you hope the show will not be cancelled after this season (as we reported and almost confirmed before) although that might be too late since a new Avengers show is already in the works(Click here for the full story). All in all this show really delivers on all aspect and is by far one of Marvel's best TV Series.

Final Score: 9.5/10 (AWESOME!)
