Superman Makes His Appearance In New One-Sheet For THE LEGO MOVIE

A new character poster has hit for Chris Miller and Phil Lord's upcoming The Lego Movie, which sports the face of our Man of Steel (or Bricks) voiced by Channing Tatum, in all of his "Superness." Will you be checking this out in theaters on February 7?

The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

The LEGO Movie opens in theaters February 7, 2014. Directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), it stars Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie and Charlie Day, with Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.

@thewonderer I pretty much have faith in everything they do now. Can't wait for 22 Jump Street too!

Very talented, aware directors.

On one hand, it makes me sad that this is the closest thing to a DC movie we're getting this year.

On the other hand, I'd rather have this than an ill-advised DC film like Jonah Hex.

Wait-a-minute!! DC characters in a funny movie for kids??!! Oh noes!! I am sure that all the people that criticize Marvel for having comedy on their films, being owned by Disney and aiming their products to a young audience will be angry, irritated and just plain exasperated about this movie including DC characters that are supposed to be all serious and moody! Right?

At least Channing is only voicing Supes and not playing him

You know what would have been awesome? If they could somehow put Marvel heroes in this movie too. Since there is no way a Marvel/DC movie with actors happens, they could make one with Lego versions of the superheroes! It probably can't happen, but we can always hope.

@TheDarkPhoenix I think everyone agrees that a Lego Marvel/DC Movie would be one of the greatest decisions in Hollywood history.

@TheDarkPhoenix Wow! I didn't even think about that. That would be awesome! If they do a sequel to this, I hope they consider throwing in Marvel characters.

I know that it's WB and they only want DC characters. But Lego has Marvel rights too. Actually, since there are Lego figures for movies like Star Wars, LotR etc., they have rights for the most famous movie characters of all time. And if they are clever at WB, they could somehow make an agreement with Marvel (because it would be mean to do it without telling anyone *cough* Bryan Singer *cough*) and make the MOST EPIC MOVIE EVER!!!
