"The Best Of Batman" DVD Package Artwork Released By Warner Home Video

Warner Home Video has released revised artwork for the upcoming The Best of Batman two-disc DVD home video release, hitting later this summer.

Announced in February 2012, with the details available here, Warner Home Video has released new package artwork for the upcoming two-disc The Best of Batman DVD compilation title, drawing together assorted acclaimed episodes from the Batman: The Animated Series and The Batman cartoons. The DVD release, hitting shelves June 19th, 2012, features thirteen episodes spotlighting characters such as Bane, Catwoman, Commissioner Gordon, Robin and Ra's Al Ghul. The two-disc release features twelve episodes from Batman: The Animated Series and one from The Batman. Episodes include "Off Balance," "Bane," "Old Wounds," "Cult of the Cat," "Legends of the Dark Knight," "Avatar," "Over the Edge," "You Scratch My Back," "Mad Love," "Heart of Ice," "A Matter of Family," "Joker’s Millions," "I Am The Night."

Not bad selections, but why wouldn't you put the TAS version of batman on the cover? If I saw this in the store I would assume it was for some 60's cartoon collection.

Nothing from The Brave and the Bold?
I find it wierd how there is only one episode from outside of TAS. It showcases Robin. All the others showcase all the other major characters from The Dark Knight Rises, but the one that seems forced on there features Robin.
Robin is in The Dark Knight Rises!

Sounds like a good selection but considering all but one of the episodes is from one series, I might as well just buy that series instead of this...
