THE SIMPSONS: Kevin Feige And The Russo Brothers Will Make A Cameo Appearance In An Upcoming Episode

It's been confirmed today that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo will be making a cameo appearance in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons...

We don't usually tend to cover The Simpsons here on CBM, but there's an episode coming up later in the current season which will feature some big names from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

On the February 23rd episode of the long-running animated series, Bart is mistaken for a terminally ill child and is allowed to see an early cut of the currently unreleased Vindicator sequel. However, with a full knowledge of what's to come in the movie, Bart uses the spoilers as a blackmail tool!

It's then that two movie executives - played by Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo - do anything within their power to stop him spreading those major spoilers.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will also be lending his voice to "Bart the Bad Guy" as the Vindicator movie's villain, Chinnos (who you can see below). You obviously don't need us to point out that he's meant to be a tongue in cheek take on the villainous Thanos from the MCU...

previously unreleased images from Avengers: Endgame!

Captain America, with Mjolnir in hand, stands ready for the fight of his life against Thanos here. If Avengers: Endgame really does mark Chris Evans' final MCU appearance, he went out on a high.

I AM IRON MAN

"And I...Am...Iron Man!" This was a jaw-dropping moment in the movie, and this gorgeous image shows the impact wielding the powerful Infinity Stones is having on the very human Tony Stark.

THOR ABIDES

Bro Thor bids farewell to Valkyrie during this scene in the movie and heads off into outer space with the Guardians of the Galaxy. However, Thor: Love and Thunder will bring him back to Earth!

I CAN DO THIS ALL DAY

Steve Rogers faces his past self in this sequence and comes face to face with America's Ass in the process. Cap's past self thought he was facing Loki, and ended up being bested after a Bucky mention.

THOR, CAP AND TONY

Marvel Studios' Trinity stands tall here as the last line of defence against the Mad Titan. An earlier version of the movie would have seen Thanos arrive with Captain America's decapitated head.

THE GAUNTLET IS EMPTY

Despite thinking that he had once again bested Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Thanos was shocked to find that he had been outsmarted by Tony Stark and was wearing a Gauntlet minus the Stones.

THOR FIGHTS THANOS

Thor wields both Mjolnir and Stormbreaker here but is seemingly once again failing to aim for the head! However, he's powering up and attempting to put an end to the villain yet again in this shot.

CAPTAIN MARVEL ARRIVES

One of the most jaw-dropping shots in the entire movie, Captain America watches on as Captain Marvel returns to Earth and brings Thanos' ship crashing to the ground after blowing through it.

PEGGY AND STEVE DANCE

Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter share a last dance in this shot from the movie's final scene, and, well, if you didn't have a tear in your eye here, we don't know what to say! What a perfect ending.

A FINAL MESSAGE

Tony Stark looks at the remain of his helmet here after that fateful battle with Thanos on Titan, and gets ready to record what he thought would be his final message to his fiancee, Pepper Potts.

LAST MAN STANDING

Steve Rogers is going to be missed in the MCU, but there's someone ready to take his place: Sam Wilson. At the end of Avengers: Endgame, he was given the shield and named the new Cap.

NATASHA AND CLINT SAY GOODBYE

Hawkeye says goodbye to Natasha here in what had to be one of this movie's most shocking moments. Despite Black Widow's demise, the character will return in a solo adventure set in 2017.

EVERYBODY COMES HOME

The Hulk uses the Infinity Gauntlet to bring everyone back from the dead, but badly injures himself in the process. How this will impact the character moving forward now remains to be seen.

THE FINAL BATTLE

CAP STANDS ALONE

There are some glorious shots from the final battle, but the highlight has to be Steve Rogers standing alone against the Mad Titan and his entire army. That's Captain America through and through.

Probably won't be very funny. But nice idea anyway.

Honestly even when the Simpsons was good I never thought it was funny. I thought it was clever more than anything. And had interesting character interactions and plots. But I never found it consistently amusing. 50-60% of the jokes always seemed to be about how stupid Homer was. Still like the show and everything but found other cartoons like South Park funnier.

@WilliamCipher - Well most of the episodes I watched were Homer centric. Like Homer vs New York or everybody loves Homer.

@WilliamCipher - Meant to say Homer's enemy. Don't know why I thought it was called "everybody loves Homer"

Honestly, the idea of a terminally I’ll kid getting to see a highly anticipated film early and then blackmailing the filmmakers is a pretty funny idea, so credit where it’s due.

As such cameos go, however, I doubt it will match Edgar Wright playing a director who has control of his superhero film taken away from him at the last minute by a Disney character on “Ducktales”.

Vindicator? So Rick and Morty are apart of the shared universe of the Simpson's and Futurama? Cool
