is this show good?

Pretty sure this episode already aired two weeks ago... I remember watching it...

@BIGBMH I think it is, it's a great new take on the ThunderCats that makes a lot of sense believe it or not. It's a little slow and there are a lot of fillers, but keep in mind that it's a kids show.

I like that they're really building up this world the way they are, but I fear we may never see the pay off. But it's definitely a cool world. Not enough Mumm Ra doing Mumm Ra things. And when we do see him he gets his ass handed to him rather readily by the magic trinket of the week. The sword of Plundarr's origin was petty cool though.

marvel72 this show is actually pretty good to watch. But of course they always throw one of the episodes that are all warm and fuzzy and just annoying. Anyways if you watch the show and see all the characters, vehicles, and weapons this could be a awesome live action movie.

I never watch this one. I prefer the old thundercats cartoon. this one is too anime-ish.

I know who this show is directed to and I grew up with the original, but I've always wondered what it'd be like with a slightly darker tone. Giving Lion-O more room to use the sword.

Marvel72: Those ewok wannabes only appeared in one episode. They were rather obnoxious, I'll grant that.

That said, I'd encourage you to give this show another chance. Most of the stories have been pretty damn good. Really enjoyed the origin of the sword of Plundarr, and the one where Lion-O died and had to fight his way back to the realm of the living.

modelsbyray: "Rankinbass"? What episode was that in? I'll have to watch for this when I see it again.

With no word from Bandai on new toys at the last Toy Fair and no mention of it in Cartoon Network's 2013 line up, I'm pretty sure this new series is coming to an end. I can see why too. I have watched every episode and other than the premier I have yet to be impressed. Not enough Mumm-Ra and the writers seem to flip flop on issues. One scene has Lion-O telling Tygra and Cheetara he is happy for them and their relationship and a scene or 2 later shows him saying he's not.
