This episode of Ultimate Spider-Man sounds very interesting. It will be a riff on "found footage" movies such as Cloverfield and Chronicle, and the entire episode will appear to be shot on a cell-phone camera.



Says Duncan Rouleau of Man of Action..

"There's never been anything in animation quite like this episode — narratively or visually."


Joe Quesada adds..

"Not only will you get a first-hand look at what it feels like to swing across the city with Spidey, you'll get close enough to the Hulk to have him fog up your lens and smell his breath."


Ultimate Spider-Man airs Sundays at 11am/10c on Disney XD's Marvel Universe programming block.

This show is complete ass. Marvel did a major misstep on their first animated show. At least there was no Shield & Spidey's teenage friends versions of other Marvel heroes in this clip. Do not watch this show if you're a fan of Spidey or Marvel.

I think it caters more to children because it's on Disney XD. Had it been on Cartoon Network or some other channel, we may ave gotten the Spider-man show we really wanted. But as it stands, this show is not watchable.

@Marjoh They actually have all but made it official that this will be the last season of EMH to make way of a new Avengers show that's in the same universe as that god awful excuse for a Spidey show. I want to kill someone too. :/

Oh gosh, you mean because you folks, who I am assuming are older than the target audience of this show seeing as how you're posting on this site, don't like this CARTOON it means it's garbage? My 5-year-old daughter loves it AND Avengers. Don't like it, don't watch it. There's a lot of stuff on tv that I absolutely hate. But I don't waste my time posting how much. And it sucks that Avengers is getting the axe but it could be worse. Seen the promo for the new Batman cartoon?

You guys do realize that its a kid show on a kids network right?? If u take it for what it's worth it's not that bad. Dont get me wrong it's no EMH but it's kinda goofy and funny.

I watch the show with the knowledge that I am not the target audience and while some aspects irritate me, my kid likes it. When I was 7 I liked Spidey and his Amazing friends cartoon I'm sure if there had been websites to tell me how shi77y it was I probably wouldn't have watched it then either. Kids like entertainment as well and not always the serious stuff that we as adults want in our cartoons

Seriously, you guys do know how popular EMH is with the people who watched it; there is no way the show will get cancelled. Maybe at season 3, but not after season 2

I tried to like this show but it is just too goddamn goofy. I facepalm every time he does the stupid talk too the screen shit like every 20 seconds. The only thing I like about this show are the cameos and the animation is really cool. Avengers EMH is a far superior show.

I have watched every episode and tried to like it. Fact is its an awful show. Even for kids. They have bastardised the marvel universe in ways kids should never see. EMH is good but it pains me to say ' as a marvel fan boy' the best superhero animation on tv right now is young justice. It really is fantastic

A. I hate a Hulk that is designed to look like a California body builder. That sucks.
B. Umm...Spidey caught the cart by webbing the umbrella...which would have snapped. And then the cart would've landed on the cops. The end.

This cartoon is truly awful.

1. I think that adults who take kids cartoons too seriously are idiots.

2. Thinking that all kids shows need to be exact replicas of the comics is outlandish.

3. Do any of you remember cartoons that were funny and action filled? Because that is what this one is and kids don't need to be deluged with serious shows any more than they are in the prime time slots. I for one hate that most cartoons cater to adults and teen in style and dialogue.
