If you're a Black Dynamite fan, and you're about to lose your Afro-wearing mind.

We've just gotten word that a world premiere screening of the pilot for Adult Swim's "Black Dynamite: The Animated Series" has been added to the already packed event Ars Nova and Nerdist Industries have planned for this Monday night at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles.

The event, described as an "epic podcast/film/comic/music mash-up" begins at 6:30PM with a screening of the 2009 film, "Black Dynamite".

Following the film at 8 there will be a live panel featuring Michael Jai White (“Black Dynamite”, co-writer), Byron Minns (“Bullhorn”, co-writer), Scott Sanders (director, co-writer), Brian Ash (comic author, writer for The Boondocks) to chat about the film, and its adaptation into the comic world with the release of Ape Entertainment's, "Black Dynamite: Slave Island."

Following the panel will be a comic signing, accompanied by a musical performance by the film’s score-master Adrian Younge and The Black Dynamite Sound Orchestra

Original art by "Black Dynamite: Slave Island" artist and Filipino Invasion legend, Jun LoFamia will be on display and for sale in Meltdown's gallery space.

And if that's not enough, apparently food truck will be on deck at the event as well.

Monday, April 4th, 6:30 pm
Meltdown Comics
7522 Sunset Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90046

Admission: $15

The podcast panel is not mandatory and the signing itself will be FREE, but panel attendees will receive priority line access
