WONDER WOMAN 1984's Gal Gadot Will Voice The Amazon Warrior In THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART

While Wonder Woman 1984 has been delayed until 2020, Gal Gadot will be returning to the role sooner than expected (sadly, we're not referring to a cameo in Shazam!).

According to various outlets, the actress will voice Diana Prince in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part and that means she will be replacing Spider-Man: Far From Home star Cobie Smulders who played Wonder Woman in the first instalment. She now joins Margot Robbie and Jason Momoa who will both be lending their voices Harley Quinn and Aquaman.

Will Arnett will be back as Batman, while Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill will reprise their roles as Superman and Green Lantern, respectively.

No voice actors have been revealed for Cyborg and the Flash, so it remains to be seen whether or not Warner Bros. will enlist Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller for those roles.

Regardless, Gadot returning as Wonder Woman here is no great surprise as she's no stranger to the world of animation after taking on a starring role in Ralph Breaks the Internet.

Honestly, it was funnier when they had characters voiced by other celebrities. But I doubt it matters much.

@Chewtoy

I think Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are coming back as Superman and Green Lantern respectively.

Also Will Arnett as Batman.

The first Lego Movie is genius and Lego Batman was fun. The Ninjago one... not so much. I still have high hopes for this one.

Just do a LEGO Justice League movie please

You’d already have a better voice cast than a better cast in the live action film. Plus we have Hal Jordan constantly being the butt of all the jokes which is great because Hal sucks

Channing Tatum as Green Lantern? Hmmm...

The first one was good until that shitty human world twist happened. What a way to ruin a movie.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - How was that a bad twist? I loved that twist

@LEVITIKUZ - I don't like when real life people are in animated movies. It reminded me of Spongebob and David Hasselhoff.
It also took away any connection I had with the characters because you find out that they're not even real.

Also, the kid's acting was terrible.

RIP Cobie Smulders as Wonder Woman.

YES! So glad she got the gig.
BUMMER! She's not doing a cameo in Shazam.
And I also think Wonder Woman should be getting another animated feature and Gal should be voicing her as well.
Hopefully we'll get a teaser trailer for WW84 at this yr's SDCC.
