ANIME: Dragon Ball GT Coming to NickToons in USA

The last episode in the anime series -- the filler story known as of Dragon Ball GT -- aired November of 1997 in Japan. The USA’s Cartoon Network aired that episode and concluded the series in English back in April of 2005. We thought that was the end of Dragon Ball forever, but Toei Animation brought DBZ back in the form of Dragon Ball Kai in April 2009 on Fuji Television and FUNimation followed by bringing it to the USA on Nicktoons May 2010. The Dragon Ball Kai series has come to an end in Japan and will be coming to an end in the USA in early January of 2012.

Nicktoons, however, won’t leave the passionate fans hanging. They will be continuing the series in the form of Dragon Ball GT beginning Monday, January 16, 2012 at 7 PM ET. If you haven’t seen the series in years or at all, here is your chance to walk into the Grand Tour!!
