Hahaha,

that was hilarious! great idea.

Now for the part where everyone hates on me. I saw DBE and though not a great movie, I had a fun time watching it. If anything I felt it was evocative of the cartoon.

Movies far worse than DBE:

Daredevil
Fantastic 4
Street Fighter (original & Chun-Li, though refuse to see that one, but c'mon, we all know it sucks, right?)

Daredevil worse than DBE ItsNotASchooner? Im begging you to get a grip on reality. DBE is possibly the worst movie i have ever seen..im not even exaggerating. It was a puss filled, vacuous, pointless, slime ridden pice of bottom feeding scum of a movie, and all copies should be incinerated!

Ahem, ..anyway, i thought that video was funny. Those damn French eh? With their wine and stuff, silly accents..what are they thinking? They should go back to their peace marches and leave all the fighting to the real countries!

I agree w/ you Schooner the movie wasn't perfect but there are far worse movies then DB:E, and they can fix everything w/ the next one since they don't have to try and cram a whole series into 90 minutes to give enough back story to be able to move on, now that the stage is set they can get to DBZ and the Sayian saga which = Vegeta :D

btw i kinda liked DB:E there are things i still poke at but for cramming 200 eps into 90 mins they didn't do too bad, I'm not going to give Goku a funeral or anything over it i think Chatwin did pretty good.

I agree with itsaschooner except for Daredevil which I didn't really have a problem with.

DBE was not the best movie, but I enjoyed watching it. There were a few laughs and the fighting was decent. I think if the sequel gets a real budget, it could be really good.

DBE sucked. I'm not just saying this becuase of the real series, I am talking about the plot. It really didn't have a plot, it was just a bunch of scenes put together, nothing made sense. DBE sucked!

ItsNotASchooner,all the movies you named "far worse than DBE" (except Street Fighter Chun Li) are WAY better than DBE,and the original SF was awesome,at least it stuck to the material,and the fact you said you didn't even see the "suckiest" one out of all of them proves you have no taste

The Movie is about something that alot of people like, and so they took the characters of a GREAT show and made something new. If they wanted to take DB as it was and make a live action movie out of it then every one would be saying how much it sucked cause the actor looked nothing like Goku. Come on guys its a cartoon. Its not like they could find some one who has hair like Goku or an old guy that looked like Roshi.
Instead of taking an old Record and making a Cd They took pieces of an old record and made something completely new.

That is what i thought about what they did with DBE
I liked the movie and i will see the 2nd when they come out with it.

Oh My God!!! that was freakin perfect!!! those frenchies got bawls and nailed that one fo sho! the 5 year old i saw it with said for the 1st 20 minutes "I am not gonna watch this" ..closer to the end he turned to me and said "this is kinda Dumb huh?" and then he got up and walked away before Shenron even came out and that kid loves Dragons! Before he left he looked at me and said "Lamo" which is our thing when we dont like something. 5 year olds think its crap, oh and it is crap, total crap. This video was perfect. truly a horrible film in every way

So frackin right though, its beyond me how anyone could enjoy this turd of a movie. Have standards just gone out the window these days? People are so caught up in why it wasnt faithful to the cartoon and what they should have done differently and Gokus [frick]ing hair.and..ARRRG, IT DOESNT MATTER! it would still be shit!

i saw the movie yesterday after taking my time to decide weather or not to see it. overall i would say it wasnt bad. the only thing that bugged me was when Goku transformed under the eclipse instead of a full moon and he didnt have a tail to do so, then instead of becoming an Oozaru which is what they are he takes the name Oozaru, yeah that was dumb. then he transformed back into his human form without any real struggle. other than that though it was pretty decent.

oh the ending was funny and dumb, how are u gonna end it w/ goku and chi chi ready to spar and kick eachother. he should have been doing that w/ roshi or something

I will again be accepting hate filled criticism for the following statement.

I really thought Daredevil was trash and thought Elektra was better than it, though both movies are not good.

My problem with Daredevil was that it tried way too hard to be an epic and big Superhero movie, but simply conformed to the usual blah, ho-hum, cookie cutter moments so prevelant in many movies today. Elektra at least seemed to feel like it was taking itself too seriously, and perhaps the smaller budget did it some good limiting the audacity of what appeared on screen.

Other movies I still think are worse than DBE:
Ghost Rider (just plain awful)
Elektra
Generation X (the TV movie, you know the one I'm talking about)
Howard The Duck
The Unreleased 1994 Fantastic Four
The 1980s Punisher Movie (he uses knives?!)

You have no sense of humor or you just plain aren't bright enough to get it. It is called committing yourself to a joke.
The more serious they seem to take it, the funnier it is. Had they been doing wacky slapstick looney toons cartoon humor that was outrageous and obvious enough for a someone this dense to get it, it wouldn't have been nearly as funny.
