DETECTIVE PIKACHU Banner Gives Us A Look At The Title Treatment For Legendary's POKEMON Movie
Legendary has just debuted the first official title treatment for the upcoming Detective Pikachu movie starring Deadpool's Ryan Reynolds, and it looks like the film has been given a slight title change...
It looks like the Detective Pikachu movie has been slightly re-branded.
Legendary Pictures has debuted the first official banner for the upcoming live-action video game adaptation, and it reveals that the movie will now be known as "Pokemon: Detective Pikachu." Not a huge change, but it does make the title more of a mouthful - although it's obviously a smart move to get Pokemon in there somewhere!
Hopefully this means we'll get our first glimpse of the little fella himself soon, so keep an eye out.
Ryan Reynolds will provide the voice of Pikachu, and he'll be supported by Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe, Suki Waterhouse, Chris Geere, Rita Ora and Bill Nighy. Pokemon: Detective Pikachu is set to hit theaters on May 10, 2019.
