From producers James Cameron, Jon Landau and director Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For) comes a mind-blowing adventure that promises us to be the cinematic 3D event of the year. Alita: Battle Angel was originaly scheduled for release on July 20 2018, and then pushed back for a December release, but it will finally debut on February 14, 2019. Looks like they redesigned it after SNL made fun of their Papyrus font.

@L0RDbuckethead - I do have a funny feeling it probably will. This last trailer does look like they're trying to be faithful to the source material, but so did Ghost in the Shell to a degree.
