New ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Set Photo Provides A Much Closer Look At Hope Van Dyne's Helmet

Another photo from the set of Ant-Man and The Wasp has found its way online today and it features our best look yet at Hope Van Dyne's helmet in the highly anticipated sequel from director Peyton Reed.

We've only seen a few bits and pieces from Ant-Man and The Wasp with most of the big reveals coming courtesy of various set photos and videos. A poster for the sequel was shown off at Comic-Con and Evangeline Lilly shared an official still when shooting started but this latest image provides arguably our best look yet at The Wasp's helmet (which we haven't seen with the visor down).

This is definitely a cool costume and one which we're no doubt going to see an awful lot of as fresh content from the movie is revealed over the coming weeks and months. After all, The Wasp is getting top billing with Ant-Man here so we can expect plenty of promo art, action figures, and more besides.

With so many movies coming from Marvel Studios in 2018, it's hard to say when we could see the first trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp. While fans are hoping for an Avengers: Infinity War trailer to be attached to Thor: Ragnarok, it seems far more likely that Disney will promote Black Panther first. We'll obviously have to wait and see but be sure to let us know your thoughts on this photo down below.

Costume looks a bit CW-ish, could do with some more colour.

@MonsieurClunge - The suit is going to be much brighter and cleaned up post. It's suppose to have a subtle yellow glow.

I'm glad she got her own suit, 'cause she was really..... bitchy in the first film.

I dig it. I'm guessing there will be some cgi upgrades like they did to BP suit in CW.

I didn't like Antman's helmet in CW, wish they'd go back to something like in his solo movie. I'd have more hype for this movie if there weren't some many awesome movies coming out before it.

I can’t wait to see these two kicking ass together. I still assert that her suit is darker to stand in contrast to the original Wasp suit, which Janet Van Dyne will presumably still have. CGI and scene lighting etc. will make it look more vibrant, just like the reflections in Iron Man’s armor.

Remember the time everyone was overreacting to this:

And then when the movie came out we got this:

So far I like Janet's suit better, but we will see once the movie actually comes out.

@RolandD - Just a matter of the color or lack thereof.

@RolandD - I think they probably needed to differentiate Janet from Hope visually bc we are gonna see more of Janet in action back in the day so the color schemes needed to be farther apart. Im betting we get a modern day Hank/Janet Scott/ Hope team-up in their respective suits at some point in this movie

@Ha1frican - I hope that happens.
