ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA Trailer And Poster Herald The Arrival of Kang The Conqueror

Marvel Studios has released the first poster and trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, and as well as pulling back the curtain on the Quantum Realm, we finally get to see Kang the Conqueror...

Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, and it's clear they're planning to kick Phase 5 off in style.

It might be unfair to call this a "return to form" for Marvel Studios after a hit-and-miss Phase 4, but it certainly feels that way. The biggest talking point here is, of course, going to be what appears to be the MCU debut of Kang the Conqueror. We're assuming this is the Variant that will take centre stage in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but only time will tell.

What we do learn here, however, is that Kang is amassing a huge army. Are they all lesser Variants or Quantum Realm inhabitants? We'll see.

On that point, the Quantum Realm looks downright bonkers, while we also get a first look at Bill Murray's mystery character. Cassie Lang is clearly suiting up as Stature (or Stinger) for this adventure, albeit with Kathryn Newton filling the role this time.

Kang asking Scott if he's killed him before didn't make it into this trailer despite that exchange being a huge part of the D23 sneak peek that later leaked online. Regardless, this is an awesome teaser and one that should definitely increase excitement for what's to come in the rest of The Multiverse Saga.

In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.

Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang. Director Peyton Reed returns to direct the film; Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produce.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released in theaters on February 17, 2023.

@PapaSpank54 - I think if they were concerned about it they would have left him out of the trailer just to be safe.

@thewanderer - I doubt it…
Seth has been telling that story for years as a funny anecdote of what a little annoying brat he was as a child and now due to the souring of the people involved the little funny tidbit of a now grown child’s stars antics have a dark and sinister overcast…

Honestly, if you were alive during the whole geena davis quick change press run (a little before and a little after…I mean I hope u still r and not a ghost) this all seems a little forced…. The arsenio Hall clip that keeps getting played over and over is edited to leave out the beginning where GEENA makes out w/bill grabs his hand and beacons him over to lean on her..there were tons of photos from this time of them going out together to parties and clubbing they are easily found on the World Wide Web!!!
Maybe they had a disastrous first encounter I’m not one to say that did not happen…people, especially artists can be nervous around other people that intimidate them and sometimes act inappropriately.
.but that arsenio interview was a straight up rehearsed bit…

Also people who keep rehashing that info with his ex-wife who is now sadly passed on…
It turned out she was the aggressor and alcoholic….
It was an extremely sad story in the end and he never spoke I’ll of her, but it didn’t stop their children…

Bold move putting Bill Murray in the trailer. Surprised they didn’t axe him from the movie.

Cool trailer, tho! I’m in.

@Fares -
It's only the helmet as shown by the end of the trailer.
